Presented and Hosted the 1st Macmillan Cancer Support  Chess Rapidplay Congress.
On Sunday 23rd August 2009.    Organised by Local chess celebrity Ray Dolan.(Walsall Sports Personality of the Year Award 1998).

We Raised  £ 802.00 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Via entries- donations and a Raffle.  92 players took part. 3 sections . open. Major under 140 grade. Minor under 100 grade. 5 rounds.
Chess Players entred from all over the UK. Including 1 player from BUDAPEST.

The Open  attracted the best Around , Like England International Master Lawrence Cooper from Stafford.  - Russell James -From Birmingham. . - Richard Westwood From St, Mary's Cannock. Andrew McCumiskey from Solihull . Plus Tristan Cox from Budapest.
